GAPC EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM

Presented by Matt Hudson - Executive Director, Florida PACE Providers Association

This program will provide an overview of PACE, the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly, and its role in helping nursing-home-eligible older adults remain safely at home while receiving coordinated, patient-centered health care and long-term support services. Drawing on Matt Hudson’s extensive experience in health care policy, operations, and PACE leadership, the session will explain how the PACE model works, how it differs from traditional Medicaid long-term care, and why its outcomes demonstrate a meaningful impact for participants, families, communities, and taxpayers. The presentation will also highlight the continued growth of PACE in Florida, including several counties where services are coming soon.

Key takeaways:

  • What is the PACE model of care
  • How does the PACE model of care differ from traditional Medicaid LTC
  • Why are the PACE model of care outcomes so drastically better than other models of care.
  • Where is the fastest growing model of care coming next
